This is a very interesting book for anyone wanting to get the most out of reading the great ninteteenth century classic novels. However, anyone who is going to do the OU course A316 should not bother to buy as it is one of the course texts supplied for that course. The other is the companion text 'Identities'. The one you need to buy is just the 'Critical Reader'.
