5.0 out of 5 stars best hip hop album of 95 maybe ever!! 12 Jan 2004
By A Customer
Nine Livez is without a doubt one of the greatest hip hop albums that i own and ive got over 150 rap cds! From the opening track all the way to end Nine delivers some of the most flowing lyrics ive heard eg "the last m.c to disagree is now history no longer an m.c he is now b.c" and "to many sukkas and not enough time to bring them down with one clip from me nine". The production for the album is spot on considering it is 9 years old now. So if you can ever get hold of this cd then its definatly worth a listen, its also one of the rarest hardest to get albums that i have ever hunted down but i felt it was well worth the effort.thanks for reading and support glock glock wallis records (ggwr) comming sept 04.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome 30 Nov 2007
Format:Audio CD
I have been after this for years and finally managed to pick up a used import cd recently. If like me you can't stand the junk that passes for hip-hop nowadays you could do far worse than Nine Livez.

The album kicks off with the awesome Ova Confident. Redrum, Whatcha Want, Fo'eva Blunted and Any Emcee are five star efforts yet they're interspersed by a number of fillers. This album would have got five stars if Nine had kept to his theme and edited it down to only nine tracks. As it is I give it four as it has at least four more outstanding tracks than your average modern day rap album. A fine effort, shame he appeared to disappear off the face of the earth.

5.0 out of 5 stars head and shoulders.... 22 Aug 2007
Format:Audio CD
I have been trying to get my hands on this for years.... thanks to amazon, I managed to get one!!! Yes it cost three times more than your average hiphop cd, but I knew it would and was prepared to pay it because, my word is it worth every single penny. FACT: this is by far one of the best hiphop albums ever made. Orignal, sophisticated yet raw and very clever, it makes you want to get up and move, which i'm afraid most hiphop today doesn't....the lyrics are so clever and the beats are classy, what more can I say other than it's an attribute to any music collection. :@)

3.0 out of 5 stars Want to give it more but cant 10 April 2006
By Jraff
Format:Audio CD
There are several tracks on this album that are absolutely epic and for that reason I would buy it so that you can experince them and have them playing in your car at full volume!
However, its expensive to get hold of now and whilst there are 4 awesome tracks there are 4 equally poor tracks and 6 mediocre ones. Wutcha want, Fo 'eva blunted, Retaliate and Everybody won Heaven being the pick of the bunch for me.
So if you want the album because you like Nine's style and already like some of the tracks on there you wont be disappointed. However, I would suggest that in this case the preferable thing to do would be to go to a service such as I-Tunes and download the individual tracks that you want.
