My second book from Keret, just as good as the first, you can sometimes get to the last page without getting a bit of it only to have the last line bring it all together and make it all make sence. Very good reading for someone who doesn't read a lot (Short stories, that keep your interest). I've suggested this and all his other stories to everyone i know, they're brilliant. The writing can get somewhat morbid/depressing but it's always for a reason, there's always something else coming to explain it (Missing Kissinger being a brilliant example). Speaking of, if you're going to read Keret i suggest you read Missing Kissinger, Knellers Happy Campers and Katzenstein (all in A Bus Driver Who Wanted To Be God & Other Stories) because they'll give you the best idea of what to expect from Keret's writing.
