When purchasing this product no description was given for the filling, I assumed it would be a foam filling like in latex filled pillows. When it arrived I discovered it was filled with tiny polystyrene beads. Whilst it did assist in breast feeding it took time to get it positioned properly because the beads kept moving and then when my baby was placed on it the beads would move again with quite a bit of noise. Overall a bit of a fuss to use, not something you want to be dealing with in the middle of the night with a hungry crying baby. Would not recommend this particular item but would recommend the idea of a nursing pillow.
