1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this! 11 July 2013
Verified Purchase
It looks nice but is very badly designed and made, I bought one which starting coming apart at the seam on the front cover after a couple of days, the seller very nicely replaced it for free and posted the replacement for free but now the replacement has started doing the same.

The problem is that you naturally fold the cover over when using the phone and the cover seems to have been designed with this in mind, although when holding the phone with the cover behind the inside of your fingers naturally grip the edge of the front cover as it's wrapped around the back of the phone, after a whole this causes the "seam" to separate.

As I said at the beginning, it's badly designed and/or badly made and will come apart after a very short time, avoid it until they make a better version.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good for 1 month 9 Dec. 2013

First impression is great, after a few weeks its falling to parts. After 2 month only the practical protection left visually crap. Its really bad quality. Do not buy it!! Go for some cheaper and more resistant. Or if u will keep it on the table and don`t put in your pocket(never ever) then buy it. It may last for 6 month. But it is a missed fire. Personally i`m disappointed. Life goes on.

It does what it was designed for.
The edge of the flap is a little bit fragile.
Be carefull, it's not leather!

1.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Case **Update Falling Apart** 9 Jan. 2013

I think I have purchased every conceivable type of cell phone case for many different phones and this one is probably the best one so far. The texture of the case is nice and smooth. I do not like the plastic or the hard rubberized feel myself even though it provides better protection from being dropped. I hardly, if ever, drop my phones so it is not a real big deal to me. The case does not snap close like how some tablet cases do so I'm not sure why it says that in the item description. If the phone is laying flat then it stays closed but a flick of the wrist and the flap easily opens. Not a big deal, actually better so I don't have to use my other hand to open it but the item description says Snap-on so I'm a little confused.

One reviewer said that the case obstructs the volume keys so you have to flip it open or leave open to change the volume but you can still push the volume up/down with the case closed as it is NOT reinforced with a hard material where the case and volume area meet. The front and back are reinforced but they constructed it so you could still push the buttons through the microfiber like material, you just have to know where the up/down buttons are.

When you take a picture you can't have the front flap on the back of the phone as it obstructs the camera so you have to hold it out to take a picture or video. Not too big of a deal for me as I do not take a lot of pictures or videos but I can see how it could be bothersome for people that do.

A cool thing they could do in the future would be to add some card slots in the inside flap. I know they have that for some of the cases for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Also a range of more colors would be good as I bought my GF a Nexus 4 and she loves colors.

Overall it is a good case with a nice textured feel. It's slim so it doesn't feel bulky and looks great. I will definitely not be going back to the plastic/rubber cases anytime soon.

So I have had this case for 2 months and the lining on the front part of the cover is coming off. The entire bottom and most of the right side are open and I can see the yellow plastic piece that is in between the synthetic leather. It doesn't open all the way but never the less I can see the plastic. The rubber lining that is on the top portion of the back part(runs along with the front of your phone) is starting to come off and peel. I had very high hopes for this product and really liked it in the beginning but now I can see that it was poorly constructed and not even close to what it costs. I haven't dropped this phone with the case ONCE and do nothing but take it out my pocket and it could only last barely 2 months before starting to fall apart. Very disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars There should be a way to give 3.5 13 Feb. 2013

1) This is a good product made specifically for Nexus 4. So the phone fits snuggly into the case.
2) The material used for this case is good. Its not like a Noreve case leather (I also own that) but will work for day to day usage.
3) since a sideways flip, you can close the cover and answer your calls (almost like a GS3 or a Note/Note 2). (This was the primary reason why I bought this case)

1) its a bit uneasy to use the buttons with this case on. (Probably the manufacturer could cut a slot for volume keys when the case is closed).

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what i wanted 9 May 2013

Works great for my Nexus 4. I wear suits to work with braces not a belt so I needed a case that didn't clip on. This just flips closed and I toss it into my suit jacket pocket. Or in my jeans pocket when home. I use the wireless charger and it charges even through the case. This case made my Nexus 4 complete. I do not use the extra little items that come in the package: screen shield, wipe and Credit card protector. I have dropped it 2x and phone was protected.

So fancy, makes my fancy cellphone look fancier. I didn't like the flip thing, tho. But it's a way-of-life problem, not related with the product
The RFID thing it's a bonus.
