Only got four stars because of a bug with using it the first time with a Nikon D300.
Bug was easily fixed when I researched it, but Nikon do not seem to want to recognise it!
Problem was that having the setiing to use the battery in the grip first then to auto goto camera battery when it ran out of juice - did not work.
The fix
power up the camera with the MB-D10 attached with the camera battery removed. Then shut it down, reinsert the internal battery, reattach the MB-D10 and hey presto.
