Best Diffusion Dome out there.

I was shooting a wedding when I dropped one of my Nikon SB-900's which of course is built like a tank and showed no signs of damage and kept on shooting. However what did suffer was the little tang on the side of the diffuser so I ordered this replacement and am keeping the broken one as backup. This is a must have item for any strobist out there. I have used the Omni Bounce and several other light diffusers but for quick set up to shooting I love using this Nikon diffuser. I find it to be much better thought out than the 3rd party brands for example it has a diffusion grid molded into the plastic to further assist in getting the diffused light nice and wide. Also when mounted on the flash it actuates a tiny micro switch that tells the flash to go extra wide to aid even light dispersion even more. My recommendation if you are a strobist kind of shooter is to always have a spare or so around or at least some gaffers tape :)
