Its advanced technology automatically makes sharper, better-exposed pictures. Versatile exposure control functions and Nikon system accessories await your command for more creative shooting. So capture more of the essence of every moment. The F75 makes it simple to take exactly the kinds of pictures you want.
Easy, ergonomic camera operation
The F75 is elegantly simple to use. Its Mode Dial directly accesses your desired exposure mode. To adjust exposure or focus area settings, just use your right thumb to operate Command Dial and Focus Area Selector, even while shooting.
Pop-up Auto Speedlight
A built-in Speedlight quietly pops up and fires automatically when light is low or subject is backlit in AUTO and Vari-Program modes, and lets you explore how creative flash photography can be. In addition to Auto Flash, you can use Slow Sync which uses a slower shutter speed in low lightto bring out background details. Red-Eye Reduction effectively minimizes the appearance of red pupils in your subjects eyes.
Informative viewfinder
The viewfinder lets you keep your eye on your subject as you check shooting information. To confirm the focus area youve selected, the Vari-Brite Focus Area display is automatically superimposed in black in the viewfinder, and momentarily illuminated in red when you focus on a dark or poorly lit subject.
New On-Screen Battery/Film indicators appear to warn you when battery power is running low, film is not properly loaded or just a few frames of film remain.
Diopter Adjustment of the eyepiece compensates for nearor far-sightedness in a -1.5 to +0.8m-1 range.
12 Custom Settings for the control you want
Custom Settings let you override camera default settings with your own combinations of functions.
Set AUTOyoure ready!
Set the F75 Mode Dial to AUTO, look through the viewfinder, compose your shot, press the shutter release, and the F75 handles the rest. Thats how simple it is to take Nikon-quality SLR pictures.
Five versatile Vari-Program Modes
Five special program modes automatically make exposure and other adjustments according to the situation to help you take more professional-looking pictures. With Portrait mode, a subject will appear in dramatic focus against a blurred background. Landscape mode keeps distant scenes looking as sharp as they do in postcards. Close-Up mode makes subject details stand out in clear relief from their out-of-focus surroundings. Sports mode maintains focus on a moving subject, so you can freeze a moment or, by shooting continuously, a sequence of fast-moving action shots. Night Portrait mode lets you take nighttime flash pictures with beautifully exposed backgrounds.
