This is a 'must have' for D3300 owners. I found the little manual that came with the camera helpful, but within the first few pages of Rob Sylvan's book there are some incredibly valuable tips that really will begin to take you from snapshots to great shots.

So many writers are cashing in on the kindle and book market on amazon and giving a few enthusiastic but useless words; but this book really helped me as a D3300 user.

After reading the 'Top Ten' tips in the first chapter, my photos and understanding took a great leap forward and the rest of the book gave me exactly the overall understanding and control I needed. I couldn't recommend this book more highly.

Excellent book ! Glad I purchased this one - bought it just after I bought my D3300 as I am a complete novice to DSLR's. I've read it from start to finish. It gives you some great examples and makes things easy to understand. A must for anyone new to the D3300, or even DSLR's !

Love this book. As well as guiding you around your D3300, it's a great introduction to digital photography in general. It introduces core concepts, such as shutter speed, ISO and aperture and explains how to change these to suit your needs and subject. It also gives you general advice on how to take good portraits, landscapes, action shots etc. It's simply a very good and easy to read introduction.

This is a brilliant guide! Alot smaller than I expected but with tons of information. If you by the Nikon d3300 you kust get this as it tells you how to use it and what all the buttons mean but also how to get the very best out of it. Great photo analysis from beginning to end.

I originally downloaded this to my Kindle several months ago and enjoyed this ebook and learnt many useful lessons on how to get the best from my D3300. I'd give it 4 stars. However, I recently downloaded the Kindle app (onto my iPad) and re-read the book in glorious colour with all the links activated. It transformed the learning experience and deserves 5 stars. So download the Kindle app to your tablet or PC to get the most from this wonderful ebook!

I found this book to be an excellent introduction to using my new D3300. It covers every aspect of setting up the camera to take pictures in a range of situations, in a straightforward manner. Excellent value in terms of the basic skills that can be developed over a relatively short period of time.
