Just started reading the book and it offers very useful advise on how to get the most out of the Nikon D3000. I would recommend it to first time users of DSLR's

This is my first DSLR and was quite daunted with all the settings this is why i purchased a book.
The Nikon D3000:From snapshots to great shots has learned me a lot and i now hardly ever use the Auto mode on the camera.
Its easy to understand and very well worded so everything is easy to understand.
A great book for the beginner like me and i would highly recommend it.
