Getting a sharp portrait made easy by using the handy Face-priority AF function. Simply select the feature in the Portrait mode, camera automatically detects human faces within the red square frame and then provide optimal automatic focus for capturing sharper and more satisfying portraits.
The newly designed slim zoom Nikkor ED lens allows 3x optical zoom plus 4x digital zoom to function throughout its entire range without protruding from the camera body. Zoom in and get closer to your subject.
Nikon's exclusive in-camera D-Lighting function adds light and detail to the dark areas of your pictures while leaving the well-exposed areas as they are. It works in the playback menu after a picture is taken, can be done easily and instantly at the press of the " OK" button.
In-Camera Red-Eye Fix eliminates the annoying problem of red-eye in photos taken with a flash - automatically detecting and correcting red eyes as the photo is taken, so eyes appear natural.
Record a movie with sound at 15fps. There are 4 movie options to choose from. Try out the Time-lapse movie by joining still pictures together to experience for example a spectacular sunset or flowers opening.

Thin lightweight camera, easy to use. Ideal for quick snaps, screen large and bright. Controls easy to work, charger base a little lightweight (can topple) only seems to charge up when connected mains (i.e. USB doesn't charge it)
Great little camera. Shame no slipcase easy a cheap vinyl one would have been good.
