By enabling the selection of faster shutter speeds, it also makes it easier to capture fast-moving subjects with greater clarity. NikonÕs Scene Auto Selector provides quick, carefree picture-taking in a variety of situations by determining the subject and surrounding conditions, and then automatically selecting the appropriate scene mode for the shot.

Face-priority AF & Smile Mode

Whether photographing individuals or groups, Face-priority AF detects as many as 12 faces and adjusts exposure across the frame to help ensure beautiful portraits at a press of the shutter button. Smile Mode automatically releases the shutter when your subject smiles to help faithfully record the moment.

Blink Warning notifies you when a subject blinks during exposure, allowing you to immediately retake the shot. Blink Proof shoots two pictures and saves the one in which the subjectÕs eyes are wide open.
