I should start off by saying that I got this item free when buying a Nikon DSLR, I doubt I'd have paid full price for it.
The bag has a main compartment with two moveable dividers that fix in place using Velcro. This is enough room for a camera body and two lenses. The dividers can be removed to make one large space. In addition it has three full length external pockets - two small zipped pouches at the front and a full height open pouch at the rear. It also has a full length internal zipped pocket in the top flap. The unit is finished off with two rubber strips on the bottom that act as feet and a detachable, adjustable, strap with a shoulder relief pad.
The bag is padded, but not deeply, and I've no doubt it's water resistant.
The Nikon logo on the front of the lid is in black on a black bag. Certainly discreet.
I've had no problems with this item, it does what it's meant to do, but functionally it's nothing out of the ordinary and it looks plain in black with a blue-grey trim. I'm sure you could buy something as good cheaper.

Got this to go with my new D5000. This bag will hold everything that came in the kit, plus another lens. Or if you don't want to carry the charger about and just a spare battery, you'll easy fit 2 zoom lenses in it plus the kit lens attached the camera.
In the inside of the closing flap it has a zipped mesh pocket. The front of the bag has 2 zipped compartments which don't really offer much space but are great for cables. The main bag has 2 movable 'walls' to separate the camera from other lenses or whatever you're carrying. There is also a pouch at the back which can hold the manual or book of similar size. Also has 2 rubber feet on the base. I wouldn't entirely trust this to protect your camera from a fall of 4 or more feet as it's not got masses of padding, but it'll protect it in normal usage.
Only thing I can think of that is missing is a dedicated SD card holder, which could have quite easily been incorporated.

I Brought this bag for my new D3100 it looks different to the one pictured and it only had one moveable spacer so i got amazon to send me aa replacement and that one came quick and it too had only one spacer. but it does what its supposed to do.it protects and carry,s around my camera battery charger and 2 lens it is good enough for what i want so i would recommend

An OK bag for a Nikon Dxxxx camera
This bag holds/protects camera+lenses+accessories (flash, battery, lens cleaning stuff etc.).
