Nikon BR-2A fits between the camera and lens to enable reverse mounting of lenses. It is an inexpensive means of obtaining a relatively high reproduction ratio. The BR-2A also increases the working distance for normal or wide-angle lenses. The BR-2A is compatible with lenses that have a 52mm front attachment size.

The reversing ring works brilliantly well, the only problem is that it is incredibly difficult to remove once you have used it. I would advise inserting a tiny bit of paper so that it can't completely screw on. Otherwise great

Fun accesory to use 9 Aug 2009
Great fun to use on 50mm f1.4 AF-D lens @1.4.
Only wish i had a tripod and macro focusing rail to try sharp well focused image. So due to the lack of DOF and subject sharpness colour abstracts are the result. Perhaps not everyones idea of good photograph but i like it.
