There isn't much to say about this little stand, it does exactly what it is meant to do and it does it well.
Although this is from the older SB-800 Speedlight, it is a much better product than the new one, thanks to the metal tripod thread, the SB900 one is all plastic and not really up to the job. Quite the bargain for a Nikon part, too! Arrived very quickly, good work Amazon.
I don't have a Nikon Speedlight, but I bought this for my Pentax flash.
Fits perfect - the locking pin is in a different place, but the stand holds it firm enough - added bonus is the tripod mound too.
Great value - most other brands charge stupid money for a stand like this
