I ordered the lens on a Saturday evening to replace the one I had been using as i had just returned from my daughters wedding and had dropped my camera on the floor breaking my lens . The lens was delivered to me on the following Wednesday morning , not a bad turn around I thought .I was very pleased with the lens and the service that I received . I knew what I needed to know before ordering as this was a replacement lens

I was a bit put off from some professional photography site reviews, until I read Ken Rockwells' review.
It's a superb little lens. Has a great focal range. It doesn't feel heavy, though why this is a minus I don't know. What is a minus is there's no lens hood supplied, but as these can be picked up for a fiver, not the end of the world.

Needed a lens to replace one that I had just dropped (doh!). This looked like the latest version of the one that was now broken. It arrived very quickly and does everything the old lens did, so I can't fault it. I'm a lazy camera user and nearly always leave the settings on auto and as this lens was for a Nikon D50, I've not found any problems with using it. I just hope I don't drop it.....
