I was looking for a new pair of binoculars for birdwatching. I wanted to move up a notch from my Steiner Safari 10x26. Having looked around at the reviews and a few try outs I started considering pair of Nikon binoculars and these came within the right price range for me (Swarovski excellent but just too expensive). I have had them for about three weeks now and I am absolutely delighted. My bird ID skills out in the field have a much better hit rate now I can see the birds so much more clearly. The image is sharp the eye pieces comfortable (I wear contact lenses most of the time, so haven't tried them with my glasses yet), the image is also bright - this means even in poor light conditions I can pick out feather pattern and colour or bill and leg colour even at some distance.
The lenses covers may irritate some but they don't bother me as long as you don't flap them around when you are up close to your subject they are not an issue for me at all. In fact when you are looking through them you don't notice they are there.
Just a really good buy for the price.

I wanted a high quality light weight pair of binoculars to view arrows in a target 100 Yards away, these do not disappoint, even in low light conditions you can clearly see the colours of the arrows in a multi coloured target face, I would recommend these binoculars to anyone wanting a clear picture.

I Purchased these elsewhere but I am extremely impressed, These are a great size not too big or small and the optical quality is outstanding for the price they rival the quality that I normally expect in £1000 + photographic lenses!
I have bought for general outdoor use and cant see why I wont be using far more than planned as they really work well.

These binoculars provide a crisp and clear image much brighter than expected. For spectacle wearers the twist down eye cups give a view almost 100% of that used without glasses. The best all round performance I could find at this price.
