Good little 2 Ch plane for someone learning. Easy to control and to fly stunts. Wings come off if you crash and very easy to refit. Motor only runs for about 15 min before needing a recharge so it is limiting in this respect but very good value for money.

the plane arrived on time and we found the instructions regarding charging and flight clear, the main thing is not to try and fly it in any wind , apart from that , very pleased with it

this was my first ever rc plane and me and my mate went to the park to test it in windy conditions and only had a few control problems but you can crash it as meanly times as you like as it is pretty much crash proof, and good range.but if i had to pick a floor it would be the battery capacity has an insefishent life , but all in all a good first rc plane to fly.

Took some time to get to grips with flying, and 9 yr old grandson very happy with it. Now need to learn how to land.

Really good fun - lasts a long time on one charge. Bought for my 7year old but i end up flying it. Would recommend a very large open field, as the first one i bought i ended up flying into some trees!!

Difficult to get to grips with flying but has brought us a lot of laughter. Buy it if you're patient and willing to learn, not for young children or those who are easily frustrated. Full marks on crash and recovery through, we've not broken it yet and it's had some bumps!

The good: I've had this for months now and after many hours of use i still haven't broke it. Its easy to assemble and use.
The not so good: it is very wind sensitive, a light gust of wind will make it uncontrollable. Other than that its good fun.

I purchased this model for a friend after reviewing all the options including Silverlit models - good videos on various sites highlighted the Phoenix as easy to fly and fairly indestructable. After testing in relatively strong winds (not recommended) the plane flew incredibly well considering. Make sure you trim the rudder as per instructions should it tend to circle in one direction.
Several crashes all be it in long grass and bushes and the plane is still intact. Helped by the wings disconnecting on heavy contact.
Motor is powerful and I would imagine on a windless day would make the plane exceptionally fast. Gliding is also possible with good updrafts.
We got about 30 minutes out of the battery in strong wind and I would imagine this would increase in better conditions.
Build quality is strong foam and quite well built for the money.
If you are upgrading from Quadcopters and the like this is a very good entry point.

I wouldn't necessarily say this is one for the kids but I guess they have to start somewhere.

Very good product.
