These spikes have a good spike plate as it is aggresive (solid) and is light. The plate is similair to that of other Nike sprint spikes. But on this pair the black tongue is done up by velcro so any time your foot makes contact with the ground while running it unvelcros itself so you are left with undone shoes. I also found that the heel slipes a lot as the elastic on the heel moves when you run.

Clearly these spikes have a designer flaw which ruins the shoe so I have had to look for alternatives. From past experince I would recommend the Adidas Demolisher, Nike Superfly or the Nike Maxcats.

I couldn't agree more with the previous reviewer, the heel slips quiet considerable whilst on the turn, and can potentially become a problem. The problem is not because of the size of the shoe, nor is it because my laces were not tight enough, it simply because of the design of the shoe.

On the note of the laces, it does not feel as if it does much to secure your foot into the shoe, it just feels like its there for existence sake. the laces does not go all the way up to the ankle, it feels like it only goes up three quarters between your toes to the ankle.

The plate is solid and aggressive, but a bit too aggressive to my taste, it gives very little in terms of flexing when compared to the Nike Maxcat where you can bend the front plate.

Overall I think this pair of shoes is all about looks more than functionality.
