Based on the true nightmare that left the city of Los Angeles paralysed for months, this is the tale of Richard Ramirez, the serial killer known only as The Nightstalker. As men and women are randomly butchered in their homes, one rookie cop, Gabriella Martinez, vows to take him down.

This is suppose to be a real life account of Richard Ramirez and his Story, but it isn't.
It is a made up story based on the case that is dabbed with silly feminism, unappealing Acting cast with bad acting skills, noisy and cheap special effects.
It doesn't even feel like the mid-eighties era with the modern wardrobe, hairstyles, and nu-metal didn't exist back then, Richard Ramirez listened to AC/DC and Billy Idol "Eyes without a Face", and does Chris Fisher in his 7 year old imagination actually thinks Richard goes through an episode like that? Or Dyslexic, nor Ramirez was never stabbed by his victims. How can you make a movie about not knowing personal facts on Ramirez? Even the Ending is wrong, he was actually chased by the mob, and they never said the Killer's name, not once since he is the first Serial Killer to be caught by Forensic Science.
The only exciting thing about the movie is DVD cover of Brett Roberts duo face split with a Demon entity.
Boring movie that isn't as hardcore as it wants to be and absence of suspense or chills to the spine, which is a pity because The Night Stalker is one of the most interesting and the most scariest Serial Killer in annuals of True Crime.

This film is absolute rubbish! im assuming by the title and the year the movie is set in that it is based on the killings committed by Richard Ramirez. The producers manage to get away with making most of this film up by not saying his name once throughout the movie. all the stupid sound effects and that dumb white guy who he kept hallucinating throughout the film just got on my nerves. a wasted couple of hours i spent watching this film

Ok this film is really well acted but i don't know it seemed very TV movie and its a shame really cos it had great moments i watched this on a blu ray player and it still seemed kinda grainy not very clear at times

Sorry is rather good but lost in endless visual effects tho!!

I don't rate this'd DVD very highly at all because it goes to fast to kep up with the story I own the 1980 version of this DVD and it goes much slower and I am able to keep up with the story I ened up get a refund of this DVD becuse it went to fast to kep up with the story because of advises in technology the 1980s DVD is much better as it goes much slower
