I was driven to write this by the review below. Denny Laine went onto better things with Paul McCartney!? That would be Mull of Kintyre I assume. Denny Laine was replaced by John Lodge and Justin Hayward (Justin Hayward wrote this song) and the Moody Blues became one of the biggest bands in the world. This song is one of the greatest songs ever written. There cannot be many people who have not heard it as it gets a great deal of radio play to this day. If you have not then I envy you. You are in for a treat. It was originally released as a single in 1967 but went to No. 1 in the USA in 1972. The year the Moody Blues became the biggest selling rock group in the world. Yes I am a fan of the Moody Blues but that does not make this any less great as a track.
