If you're new to Girlschool, this album may be a great way to sample their wares before moving on to their other great and now abundant catalogue. Over these two particular albums, they continue, as they always have done, to play their own material whilst adding a few 'standards' in for good measure. Here, they plumped for The Sweet's 'Fox On The Run' and Mud's 'Tiger Feet,' whilst Motorhead's Lemmy jotted down the lyrics for the 'Head Over Heels' track.
There are no disappointing tracks here, as ever, Girlschool deliver exactly as their longstanding reputation herald's them, with track after track of top-notch female rock 'n' roll!
The CD booklet is a joy in as much as for this reissue the press cuttings and 10" x 8"'s from the times of release have been begged, borrowed or stolen to make this a top-notch re-issue of two of their classic albums.
