After seeing the trailers for this, I just had to watch it. I wasn't disappointed because it is just so upbeat - from the brilliant, bouncy soudtrack to the peculiar man-boys, Doug and Steve Butabi. Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell are so naturally funny, they bring this comedy into a world of its own. The soundtrack throughout is absolutely fantastic and there are some classic interplays between Kattan and Ferrell.

The film follows the struggles of two brothers: Steve and Doug Butabi. They are club hoppers who have the corniest chat-up lines which never ever work. Their dream is to have a club of their own so they can do what they like in it. This seems like an impossible dream until they blagg their way into the highly regarded Roxbury Club. There they mingle with the stars and drink at the managers table. A meeting is set up but when all doesn't go to plan the brothers split up. Will their friendship be resolved? Will their dreams come true? You'll have to watch to find out, but the film features many spoof scenes snatched from other films and a great musical score. You'll laugh and cry when yoou watch this gem of a film. I enjoyed every minute of this movie. The jokes are well thought out and intensely funny, there is never a dull moment. The plot is entertaining but it doesn't take itself seriously and thats a good thing in a movie of this ilk. The DVD features interactive menus, scene access, Dolby Digital 5.1 and subtitles along with a clear widescreen picture. Greatly recommended.

I am not much into comedy's - however, I grudgingly watched this movie, and I can honestly say, that even the most miserable of people will not be able to watch this without many laughs. It is a mixture of humour, truth, jealousy, everyday dreams, and will even put a lump in your throat at the end, when you realise that these mad brothers love each other to the pip. I would highly reccomend this movie, especially if there are a bunch of you - even better. You will NOT be disappointed

For every wannabe, nearly been or star struck nobody comes a Night at the Roxbury. The film is genius, not only are the gags great but Richard Grieco too! You'll love this film. If you love this you'll also love Side Out. Come to Oulton Broad for a Night at the Wherry! Score!

I first saw this film in 2000 and was hooked straight away. This really is a great film for whisking you back to the DISCO days. The music was great, but I like to think the 70,s and 80,s music will always be the best. When I came across a track called " THIS IS THE NIGHT" credited to A NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY I went straight to AMAZON and bought it . When I started it up I was transported back to my youth again. The film has it all - Zany, Sad,Crazy ,but it gets that era to a T ,we were there to enjoy life and did. Chris Kattan and Will Ferell make the Butabi brothers parts their own, they really do bounce off one another. I will be watching this video over and over so take my advice , get it, sit back and enjoy a blast from the past

From the moment I saw the trailers I had to see this movie, the music was a definite lure so I called my pay for view and sat back.I`ts the best couple of quid I`ve spent, laughs from start to fnish with great one-liners.Two brothers on a quest,to dance the night away at the hottest club in town, only one problem though, their names are not on the guest list.Watch these brothers at work in thier fathers flower shop they will split your sides. Throughout the movie the soundtrack, which includes some early dance music and some up-to-date beats, links very well with the brothers exloits to achieve thier quest.I bought the soundtrack, available of course here at Amazon.co.uk.The actors who play the brothers (Chris Kattan and Will Ferrel ) are brilliant together and Molly Shannon lends her witty humour as the girl with a big crush for one of the bungling brothers. This movie is not one to miss and with a superb soundtrack I`m sure you will not be disappointed.

No one can stretch a single joke as far as Lorne Michaels and the team at Saturday Night Live, and A Night at the Roxbury may be the ultimate proof of that. The disco guys with the bobbing heads certainly had the potential to wear thin after just a few skits, so I had my doubts that there would be enough material here to sustain a complete feature film. Surprisingly enough, there is - and the brothers' shtick never really grows old.

For brothers Steve and Doug Butabi (Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan), life is all about hitting the clubs every night. By day, they work - reluctantly - for their father at his silk flower shop. Pops wants Steve to settle down and marry Emily, the girl next door (Molly Shannon) and bring about a merger of the two family businesses into a lamp and flower store, but Steve just wants to hang out with his more reckless and even dumber brother, dance the nights away, and maybe even pick up a woman successfully someday. Privately, the brothers dream of opening their own night club - but they're stymied by the fact that they have never even been able to gain admittance at the Roxbury, the cream of the night club crop. Then fate steps in and Richard Grieco gets them in and even introduces them to Mr. Zahir, the club's owner. Suddenly, it looks like their ship may finally have come in - until the following day, when everything starts to crumble. Will the brothers go their separate ways? Will Steve take up permanent residence under Emily's thumb?

It goes without saying that this is a pretty dumb movie; the important thing is that it is a genuinely funny dumb movie.
