Book Description

Feb 2005 Goosebumps (Paperback Unnumbered) (Book 40)
Trina's dad used to be a ventriloquist, and has an attic full of dummies. Then a new dummy arrives. Suddenly there are voices in the attic, strange accidents, and dummies move around mysteriously. Of course there must be a logical explanation, because it's stupid to be scared of a dummy, isn't it?

I started of thinking that I hated R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series but then I read most of 'Egg monsters from mars' and thought that was okay so I read 'Say cheese and die' and that was great so I read the sequel, 'Say cheese and die-again!' and that was even better! But then, I don't know why I stopped reading them for quite a long time but a few weeks ago I picked up 'Night of the living dummy III' and read it and it was brilliant! My favourite part is when Trina and Dan are in a fight with Slappy and try to drag him downstairs and drop him in the well but find him the next morning sitting at the breakfast table, soaked. My favourite character is Fred (Froggy), I liked the part were he goes into Zane's room, sees the broken camera and jokes 'That's what happens when you try to take a picture of me!' I also like the way Trina keeps calling Slappy Evil.

I would defiantly give this book 10/10

Trina and Dan's father used to be a ventriloquist, and he still has all his dummies in the attic. When cousin Zane visits them, things start going wrong.

Once again Stine has put the same dummy in new settings and wrote another replica of night of the living dummy. A new ventriloquist dummy arrives in a family, things start happening, it turns out that one of the kids is behind at first, and then the doll takes over after the kid is caught. And if you've read the former books in the series, you already know who will finally fight the evil doll. Yawn.
