5.0 out of 5 stars unbelievable, 10 Sep 2001
By A Customer
This is another amazing book by Marsden. Although it was not as good as his others, it was still very good. Again Marsden draws you into the world of the teenagers who now have to look after some kids who had been able to avoid being captured by the enemy. On their way back to Hell they encounter a bit of difficulty which proves to be very nerve racking.

P.S It would be a sin to miss out any of the Tomorrow series books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Part of the best young adult series in years., 6 Sep 2001
By A Customer
John Marsden has written an incredibly powerful series that asks its reader many questions about morality, both personal and collective, but so well wrapped up in gripping storylines and real characters that you never feel patronised or preached at. Of the seven books, as a stand alone book this is not one of the strongest, but as part of a series it creates some space before the incredible finale of the last book. (bought, and immediately read, in Australia). These are books I have read countless times already.

4.0 out of 5 stars possibly loseing some of its charm, 10 Feb 2001
By A Customer
this book is still but its not as good as the others, the reason i gave it three 1/2 stars is because although it is a good book its missing something that made the others come alive. i hope however he continues with the seris as i would love to see Lee and Ellie get back together i half wish she had jumped him on christmas down by the creek. ok i wholy wish it but never mind there's still time

anyway if youve read the rest of the series definatly buy this book if not start from the begining (tommor when the war broke out) they are deffinatly worth reading
