This book it is the turn of Niki and Sophia. Characters who I have been dying to read about from the start. Niki who has spend the last book, surrounded by vampires and being a feeder for Lara, feels out of place. Sophia we learn alot about in this book. Her past, her reasons for not wanting a mate. But that dosen't mean her wolf dosen't want one. There story is a joy to watch and they Still manage to get around the fear Sophia has towards having a mate and allowing the mating bite.
Slyvan grows more resless and dangerous with Drake now pregnant. No matter what Slyvan is detirmined to keep Drake and their young safe, but Drake also detirmed to keep the young in her belly safe also will not be left behind while her mate tracks down the people responisble for the people who kidnapped two of her weres in the last book.
Katya and Grey the two weres who were kidnapped in the last book have been found and brought back home, but after the ordearl and the torture neither are the same.
One of my favorite things in this book to read was Raand writes in what they would do if they lost their mate, and the agony. One exsample is when Drake gets in the way of Niki, who is in a mindless rage over another were about Sophia, and it is the sense of the Alpha's young that pulls her out of her haze. But Slyvan who wasn't there at the time, senses the attack on her pregnant mate.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
