There are very few decent books concerning night fighters of WWII. Those that exist tend to be very expensive. I thought this book was excellent. Whilst concentrating on the flying career of Bob Braham, there is enough technical information in there to appreciate why certain things were done in the development of aircraft and tactics.
This book covers a subject rarely touched upon. You will find dozens of books on 'The battle of Britain', but little on night fighting over Europe. In reading this book, you will also find out the story of a little-known fighter ace. Highly recommended.
