Tom Browning is a wonderful artist & his santas are truly special. This book is full of his outstanding studies of santa, overflowing with colour & magic. Particularly special during the run-up to Christmas. Brian P.

I ordered this book following the birth of my daughter to start a new family tradition of reading it every Christmas Eve. I spent ages looking at various editions with differing illustrations and finally selected this version as the depiction of Santa was the closest to my childhood vision of him. I wasn't disappointed, the illustrations are beautiful thoughout and the book is a very good size for sharing between several people snuggled up together to read. I would recommend this book to everyone looking for their own copy.

What a fantastic story. I bought a copy for my friends 2 girls & a copy for me. I sat there on Christmas Eve like a big kid & read it. There I was transported back to 1960, The house & Tree decorated to perfection by my mum, the smell of christmas cake & mince pies cooking. My sister & I too excited to sleep & then Father Christmas creeping into the house to deliver all the gifts, reindeer on the roof tops, the snow, It was purely magical & the illustrations fantastic. I felt 5 years old again. Worth every penny for the memories.

beautiful book
i got this to read to my little girl on xmas eve and we were reading it for a week after xmas too !! she loved it ! lovely big bright book with great pictures to a classic tale

just such a lovely book,really fab pictures,wanted to read it to my daughter the evening I got it but it was Oct so I just read it to myself until December comes along-Can't wait
