Deniece Williams was one of the most popular and influential Soul singers of the 1980's, and this 2 on 1 CD features her most successful albums of the period. 'Niecy' was recorded at the legendary Sigma Sound Studios and produced by famed Philly producer Thom Bell, the musicians the cream of the crop, including Motown veteran Bob Babbitt on bass. 'Niecy' made it into the US top 20 and spawned three singles 'It's Gonna Take A Miracle', 'Waiting By The Hotline' and 'Waiting'. In 1984 the single 'Let's Hear It For The Boy' gave her a second solo chart-topper. The million-selling pop/soul chart-topper was featured in the movie Footloose, along with Flashdance, one of the most successful of many dance-related movie musicals to spring up in the wake of Fame. The song peaked at Number 2 in the UK, was certified platinum and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song.

I Have Been Searching For This CD Niecy For Years And Thank God It Is Now On CD With Let's Hear It For The Boy. My Best Song For Niecy Is Waiting By The Hotline.Let's Hear It For the Boy Black Butterfly.So Amazon Thanks Again For Always Trying To Get The CD'sThat Are Being Up Dated Because There Is Still A lot Of Music That Is Still Not Out on CD.

Some of Deniece Williams' best songs are on this double album. This album is a bargain, and Miss Williams has an incredible, sweet voice. Songs like Miracles and It's Gonna take a Miracle bring back memories. Her most popular song "Let's hear it for the boy" is also on this album. During those years singers like her had talent and class!

the music was fine. when i started adding it to my digital collection, the computer couldnt recognize the disc. i could be wrong, but that tells me it was a copy that i purchased, not a professional cd. im not complaining about the product, i just noticed what occured during the process of adding it to my music file.
