Product Description

Product Description

Why do some ex-smokers suffer from withdrawal symptoms even years after their bodies are free of nicotine? Why do some people stop smoking without suffering, when others go through agony? These are the questions smokers should ask themselves if they want to give up - they form the basis for the simple method contained within. This text explains in accessible language what happens when you smoke that first cigarette. It examines the psychological and chemical processes the body undergoes and what can be done to master them.

From the Publisher

This is Neil Casey's second book on how to stop smoking following the astounding success of 'The Little Book of Not Smoking'.

In the 'The Nicotine Trick' Neil reveals an entirely original method to stop smoking for good, by explaining what really happens when you light up a cigarette.

Armed with this knowledge, giving up has never been easier.

5.0 out of 5 stars I was tricked, 13 Jan 2004
I read this book in one session(3 hours)and seriously believe I will never smoke again.I was quite literally tricked by Mr Casey into believing that Smoking is a con.Given that I've tried so many times to give up in the past, patches,Allen Carr, threats of divorce proceedings,books,hypnotherapy-you name it I've been there-the new realisation I feel now is incredible.
The real beauty of the book is it's simplicity and originality-presenting in my view such a compelling argument that not only have I not smoked for 2 weeks but more importantly it's been easy-how is that possible? Read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lifesaver, 25 Sep 2003
By A Customer
Although it took me longer than Neil Casey suggests to rid myself of my nicotene problem (he says a few days it took me a month) once its gone its gone. I have tried probably 40 times to give up before using everything from nicotene patches to the Alan Carr method. It will cost you very little in terms of money or time to read this book and its very likely it will save your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars The miracle cure!, 19 April 2003
By A Customer
I have tried to quit smoking so many times over the years, I have tried every product on the market without success. The only thing I hadn't tried was reading a book, so I went on Amazon and browsed through the many stopping smoking books, when one particular book caught my eye Neil Casey's The nicotine Trick. I ordered the book and began to read it. I know this might sound stupid and I couldn't actually believe it myself but this book is amazing, you actually don't want to smoke, the desire to pick up a cigarette disappears. I haven't had a cigarette for over 3 weeks I have no cravings, I feel wonderful. My husband read the book and has also stopped, he is surrounded by smokers at work and he finds himself loathing cigarettes. Don't just take our word for it, if you want to quit buy the book it is brilliant. The man is a genius.
