I have left it a while before reviewing this item. I had to be sure in my own mind that I could give an honest review. I have managed without smoking for over two weeks now and am relying on the Nicorette Inhalator less and less. I went through a gradual process of cutting down cigarettes but it really only took a week or so before I started to quite dislike the taste. From then on it got easier. Still an on going process but I think I'm winning.It will not suit everyone but if, like me, it's the habit of reaching for a cigarette at certain times rather than the nicotine craving, then this product will work for you.

A Dream come true,

For me stopping after a 30 year habit on 25 a day it was a dream to ever stop.One day for no particular reason I decided that was it, no more. Got this product, used a maximum of 3 cartridges out out the 12 allowed from day 1. If I carved I used it, if I didn't I didn't. I live with a smoker and I though I was on mission impossible. 20 months later I have never has another cigarette. If I had known it was going to be so easy I would have done it years ago. Done the sums and I am now.....£4.679 richer!

i bought this item one day ago as it was on offer; i don't want to give up smoking but did it on a whim knowing it's the right thing to do - i haven't had a cigarette yet and haven't needed one. yes, i know it's only 24 hours but i've rolled my own for at least 30 years and enjoy the whole ritual. i was concerned that a cartridge only lasts for "20 minutes intensive smoking" but it's lasted almost the whole of my first day - why does an earlier reviewer have to change it every hour? nonsense, you're not supposed to toke it until it's empty!! i would heartily recommend this aid to someone who actually wants to give up. it's not as deeply satisfying as a smoke but it does remove the craving and there's no lingering smell attached to your clothes - even i find that objectionable.it's day 4 and i've discovered a great trick. when you get to the point of thinking the cartridge has run out, warm it up and try again. i find that more vapour is released and it lives on! it's taken me a while to work out the best way to use this aid. i started out holding it like a cigarette and inhaling as i would usually do but this doesn't really work. now i'm using it more like a drinking straw, giving it hard sucks for a few seconds then leaving it until the next time.
