Nicola Taylor was born and brought up in the south of England and has lived and worked in various parts of Britain. She moved to the Highlands of Scotland with her young family in 1994, and set up a relocation agency, Highland Dreams, through which she helped many people from around the world to do the same.
While in Scotland she helped to set up a weddings agency, which attracts couples worldwide to come to Scotland to marry in its beautiful and historic surroundings. Over the years she has assisted at many of these weddings in various capacities.
While in the Highlands she and her husband renovated a tiny cottage and turned it into a restaurant and secondhand bookshop where she was the chef and he was Mine Host and head bottlewasher.
Now living in Glasgow, she lets out a city centre apartment providing serviced accommodation for travellers, business people on short term contracts, and other visitors to the city.
She currently runs the small but beautifully-formed Unbound Press which publishes fiction and non-fiction and runs writing competitions in various genres.
She has written four books, Live & Work In Scotland, Buying a House in Scotland, Live & Work in Britain and The Scottish Wedding Planner.
