Nexxus Memory + Sim Card Reader for Mobile Phones
Just doesn't work in either Vista or XP PC - meant to be plug and play. Exception error message dispalyed when plugged in. Can't get a zero star rating?

I bought this as a sim card reader as I was desperate to get back some deleted text messages from my phone. The item arrived very quickly indeed and I did buy it as an on offer item so it wasn't expensive,however I was expecting good results from it.
I tried with a Vodaphone sim first as an experiment before trying my o2 sim, using the software provided I managed to read the Vodaphone sim but not the o2 sim. The software that comes with the reader does not have recovery software on it, but it didn't work 100% anyway and the disc software does not provide drivers for Windows 7. I emailed the manufacturer as indicated on the help file but as usual there was no reply. I bought some very expensive sim card recovery software to use with this reader and it doesn't even recognise the reader but I'm not sure if Windows 7 drivers are needed for this.
I will be purchasing another reader and hope that works but I would give this Nexxus one a miss

Excellent product and excellent service.
I wrongly left negative feedback initially as I didn't understand the product. Simon @ Mobitz resolved this issue with me over the phone and he was very helpful. Of course I then deleted the negative feedback and hope that this review will go some way to compensating. My apologies Simon and thank you.Would certainly do business again with this Company.

Eventually got it going
The item looks impressive, but the supplied disc repeatedly crashed my PC, I eventually found the software at Realtec, who make the chip, now it all works fine. Read more

prompt, on time, good product
excellent device, easy to use and delivered quickly. no more worries about losing sim cards. easy to upload and download contacts from the pc to sim and vice versa.
