Nextbase iPad Mounts
Not compatible with Nextbase SDV48/49 series, these systems use wired headphones with a standard 3.5mm jack.
Coby TF-7051 and TF-7751 models - the Coby DVD players will require an external IR transmitter which is available separately.

Very please with the sound quality from these headphones, works perfectly with my SDV47.
Also easy to set up, just turned on infra red transmitter on DVD player, turned on headphones and they worked instantly, brilliant.

I bought the Nextbase and Colby portable infra red DVD players in preparation for a touring holiday this summer and noticed that Amazon were advertising that if you bought one pair of the Nextbase / Colby wireless infra red headphones you got the other pair free, which seemed a good bargain!! - Overall really happy that my 5 year old and 8 year old do not have to tie themselves in knots when watching their DVD players in the car! The general design of the headphones is good, simple to use, lightweight and comfortable for small heads, but build quality is just average and does not compare to renowned headphone brands; but certainly does the job for the children in the car.

like some other reviewers, I was confused by the lack of transmitter as the guide that comes with it only refers to how to use them with the transmitter. Eventually I found the info online that says you don't need it and that you can connect from the DVD player, which is great but that key information is nowhere in the guides that come with it, you have to go online to find it. Then I still couldn't get them working, it turns out because the batteries that were supplied with it were dead. Once I figured that out, it worked absolutely fine. It's also not entirely intuitive or easy to find in the guides that you have to turn down the unit volume separately from managing the volume in the headphones, but again we got there and now it all works great for a great price.
