This LARGE clock (yes, it is BIG) is awesome. It is absolutely stunning and looks fantastic in my living room. When I took it out of the box, I panicked, thinking it was too big. By the time it was put on the wall at the other side of the room, it looked perfect. Children are all really impressed too.

Love it, Love it, Love it. If you want to create a traditional art deco or modernist style within your room, this clock is a must. Its very very big & imposing. The metal surround to the clock is just that, REAL CHROMED HEAVY METAL, not some cheap jack plastic, made to look like metal, this is the REAL DEAL. It looks mega robust, yet really isn't half as heavy as it looks, so its really easy to wall mount with a relatively light weight hook. Its got a very very quite "tick" noise. I think its fairly expensive, but honestly, its worth the money. You can buy similar products a lot cheaper, but you will NOT get the quality of the Newgate. The first clock I received did arrive with a small crack in the glass front, the supplier was mega helpful, and arranged for the old clock to be returned, and the newclock was delivered within a day or so. It was extremely well packaged in a polysterene box, plus a hard cardboard outer. I've wall mounted this centrally on a fairly wide wall, & it looks superb, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a traditional art deco look.
Just as described and identical to the one I had seen in John Lewis but at least £20 cheaper at the time I bought it. Looks great.
