I bought this, hoping for an informative dvd about New Zealand and it was sadly lacking. I should have known when I read the back of the box and it said that Wellington was in the South Island what I was in for. Not only was the filming and photography awful, ie: no panoramic shots of New Zealand's countryside and amazing scenery, but the whole thing (which was thankfully short) was a documentary of this guy's personal holiday. He is not a pretty sight close up nor a great commentator. I was hoping to see a bit of New Zealand but all I got was him and his irritating cockney accent all the way through. The visit to the Maori village was very disappointing - the Maori people were not in traditional dress but in tshirts and didn't look very enthusiastic. I have seen wonderful footage of this fascinating custom on other dvds but this was a poor contrast plus we had an irritating rendition of "Yesterday" from the commentator - come on, if you're making a video, make an effort! Awful, hated this dvd. I watched it once and binned it. Save your money.

Very interesting documentary about New Zealand, commented with lots of fun.

Was dissapointed at how short the DVD was (1 hour documentary).
Was also dissapointed that it focalised on the towns and extreem sports. I was hoping for more on the national parks and nature to discover. The last 10 minutes are on the Fox Glacier and it was great. Would have liked it to all be like that.

But a very good overview of the country and good navigation.
