I wish I new about Corduroy when they first arrived! Still it's not too late! There are lots of clever ideas on this album. My favourites are: Supercrime (anyone been sold a bum stereo before?) and Hand That Rocks The Cradle (a tender, but not slow, song telling someone to leave her wife beatin' punk of a lover).
I don't know if they are hip or not -- that's not really why I buy music -- but you might just impress your friends by this discovery!
I also bought "London England" (the anthology) but I like listening to the albums better than just highlights from each album.

This is not my most favorate of the courduroy collection, I love their instrumental stuff the most, but its a good album.

Cheesy? Maybe...Fabulous? YES!

The cover of this album gives you all the clues you need for what to expect. The 60's hip chick looks so cool! The music is great too. There is a mixture of lighthearted vocal tracks (the best are Designosaur, and Season of the Rich), and great instrumentals like Data 3000. Cool cheesy listening for those warm summer days, relaxing on the beach...with yellow tinted specs of course!
