5.0 out of 5 stars √ Thanks for the Afflatus! 3 Jun. 2014

I took this little book to the gym with me today. Whilst pedaling away, I reviewed "abdicate" to "afflatus." Enjoyed the witty little questions at the bottom of many of the definitions.

√ Well done, concise, easy, fun! Recommend!

3.0 out of 5 stars not very fun 1 July 2014

I saw cartoons and riddles and thought this would help me remember vocabulary, but was disappointed. Nothing funny or clever about this book, just words and definitions.
4.0 out of 5 stars vocabulary IS so important 16 Jun. 2014

I don't go in and learn a new word every day but do think having a place to check out new words and give yourself the opportunity to use them is a wonderful way to improve vocabulary, and without this device, one would often forget. Great way to feel good about yourself.
