I've used the pouches for both my Kindle 2 and Kindle Touch.
It provides a nice soft case that protects the device from any external damage.
The cloth is thick enough to spread out any pressure from an object that would poke the screen.
Sizewise, the box says that it s good for the Kindle 2. It was a `just fit' for my Kindle 2 and you couldn't close the top because the device stuck out just a tiny bit.
For the Kjndle Touch, it is great. It fits perfectly, and you can snap the top loop & bead closed.
Overall, I really liked this as a case. I'm not a fan of cases that add weight or make the device bigger. These pouches allow my device to be protected during transport, and it is easy to slip into or out of when I need my literary fix.

The orange Kindle Holder / Case fits the Kindle kind of loose. If you do not latch the top it can slip out.
The latch is just a loop that fits over a plastic bead and tends to slip off if you carry it around. The case provides no protection for dropping the Kindle or setting anything on top of it.
The material does not scratch the Kindle display and the Kindle slides out of the case easily. Being orange in color I never lose my Kindle.

Simple yet brilliant. I've been using a leather, and more expensive, case for my kindle. I like this one much better. It's easier putting it in and taking it out; it doesn't increase the overall size by very much; and it still protects my kindle. Also, if I ever upgrade to the new kindle I don't have to buy a new case.
