Excellent Tunes and Songs,

This is a great album by the Battlefield Band, packed with outstanding fiddle and pipe music from the expert fingers of John McCusker and Iain MacDonald respectively, you will be tapping your feet. Powerful and passionate vocals ring out from Alan Reid and Alistair Russell as they present us with a range of emigration songs from the tragic anthem Darien (my favourite) to the optimistic The Green And The Blue. Mention also has to be made of the cheeky cautionary tale The Devil Uisge Beatha. Pure magic.
