I am a worship leader in a local church and enjoy contemporary worship, but I am increasingly worried about the sub-standard worship 'product' coming from SOME sections of the new church. They seem more intent on worshipping themselves than God.

I am delighted to say this does not fall into that category. There are some lovely songs and great performances on this CD. As with all compilations there are tracks I prefer over others (personal preference allowed, right?!) but overall the project is cohesive and works well.

Highlight for me? Yvonne Lyon. This wee lass has a voice from the throne room of heaven itself and the song she sings here is up to her usual peerless standard. I would urge you to check out her albums for yourself - in fact she is seemingly more highly acclaimed outside the Christian scene than in it (Bob Harris is a fan for example).

Very catchy new Celtic hymn/spiritual songs with pleasing voices. Makes a nice change from pop-type ones. Great for listening to in the car or at home.

Really enjoyed listening to this new twist on some old hymns, it's lovely to listen to. We've got it on all the time in the kitchen just now - would definitely recommend!

I and my two young daughters love listening to this. We already loved Emily Smith but the others singers are all very good and the lyrics are excellent. A very nice alternative to lively praise music.
We love the elements of traditional music too.
