Oxford University Press is proud to announce the publication of a new Anglicized edition of the highly-respected text. The work of Anglicization has been undertaken in full-co-operation with the leading American academics responsible for the original work of translation. By this means, the foundational scholarship which underpins the NRSV has been safeguarded, but enhanced for readers in the UK, and other countries where British usage is preferred. The changes made to the text do not impair the translation, but rather ensure that the meaning is immediately clear for the reader. This is particular useful in public worship, where the natural flow of the language is vitally important, and in personal use, where unfamiliar phrases will no longer interrupt the reader's concentration.

Bible: New Revised Standard Version Bible (Anglicized) (Bible Nrsv)
This version of the Bible is excellent no more is there any more confusion of understanding verses as with the Authroized King James Version.
The text is clear and written in English, the text however is not altered from the KJV so it isn't a case of dumbing down the text.
The only possible things that I would have liked to have seen is Maps and an index so you can cross reference.
But it is excellent otherwise The Bible as you know it just written for Great Britain!
