This is a wonderful, powerpacked book I loved it!
Until now new practitioners have never has access to such a rich introduction to the various applications of Reiki. Even the experienced master practitioner of Reiki will find new insights and ways to stretch their own practice of Reiki. We are treated to no less than 88 practices of Reiki ranging from a focus on the physical, mental-emotional or Karmic bodies - or - taping the energetic essence of archangels, herbs, celestial bodies, or sending treatments into the past to heal ourselves or our lineage. The variety of these 88 treatments will stimulate any Reiki practitioner thinking and approach to healing. This will be a great resource in my classes on Reiki.
One of the fun things about this book is that you are able to see the progression of Brett Bevell's own thinking about the nature and practice of Reiki - he is truly an explorer and we all benefit from his practice.
A true gem of the book comes at the end when we are offered the Ten Laws of Reiki - a deep summation of the author's own thinking and what he has come to believe about the nature and practice of Reiki. These ten laws are worth reflecting, unpacking, and pondering.
The value of making Reiki more available to everyone flow all through this book and his two previous books - The Reiki Magic Guide to Self Attunement and Reiki for Spiritual Healing. Reiki is described not a static system, full of ritual, but a living and evolving healing system.
This is a book you can both read and use as a resource guide in your practice of Reiki. We are treated to an elegant, concentrated, and fully accessible system of Reiki. I deeply appreciate how this book makes the practice of Reiki more accessible and available to everyone!
