In relation to success- no matter what career path one has chosen to take - this book presents the reader with the opportunity to change their perspective on what they are capable of achieving, and assist them in carrying out the changes.In my humble opinion, this revised edition of Dr Maktz's first book, is the KEY to understanding the real obstacle that every person faces on their journey through life, that is " YOURSELF".Once this concept is understood, which is covered in great detail in the book, the reader will immediately begin to see all their past experiences in life in a new light.If one studies writings from any number of professions, from Salesperson to Professional Golfing, one will see that the techniques are either taken from Dr Maltz's first book, or they are very alike.

Everything about this book is interesting.It could have the same attraction for adults, if advertised correctly, that the Harry Potter books have for children.The simple stories of childhood behaviours - which we can all relate with - starts the reader thinking in the direction of " hmmm, maybe this stuff does actually work ".I am quite sure that if one wanted to spend some time researching the real examples of self improvement, from the book, then they would not be dissapointed.

"The New Psycho-Cybernetics: The Original Science of Self-improvement and Success".The description of this book does not lie.If the reader takes the time to study, carry out the excersises given at the end of each chapter, and allow themselves to operate as human beings have evolved to operate - that is as a "GOAL" striving being -then they will be amazed at how their life can change.This book has the potential to not only help one succeed in thier profession, but to also assist in dealing with the everday confrontations that all human beings are presented with, from serious illness to social problems.This is truly the best book that I have ever come across, and I am thankfull for that.I pay tribute to Dr Maxwell Maltz, for it is not too many people who would talk themselves
out of work to assist their fellow human beings - a true gentleman.

Despite the catchy (scientific sounding) title - this book is much the same as others on the market. It is a bit too long and rambling - it really needs to be more focussed. It is anecdotal with many references and input from other books. However on the positive side the bits that seemed most useful were the occasional 'Perscription' boxes which gave some useful advice on what to do and practise. Some of the mental exercises were also helpful - but these were a small part of the content. Perhaps these could be collected into a condensed edition - my own suggestion for a catchy title ... 'Condensed Psycho-Cybernetics for rapid results'.

This book is one of the best self help books on the market and quite different from others in my view.
The beauty and magic of this book is the "actual mind exercises" which are the key as to why the book is so transformative to peoples lives.

Once you realize how to use your imagination effectively this will result in a valuable change in your cognitive processes thus enabling you to live your life to the fullest! and this book teaches you how to do that!

It really is one of the best life changing purchases you'll ever make.
Also a fab book to give someone as a present.
A book to keep by your bedside and dip into every day, its so inspiring!
Just buy it!
