So the price was OK, the shipping free, and the delivery was excellent - the battery arrived the very next day. It's on charge now - and will probably work once charged, BUT - it's not what I thought I was ordering! I believe this battery, to be second-hand, well used already and NOT NEW as advertised. Here's why I think this....
1. It does not arrive in any official packaging, such as a marked blister pack, It just comes in a small plastic zip bag.
2. There are scratch marks on the three battery terminals where it makes contact in the phone - normal for a battery that's been fitted & used before.
3. There is a small dent in the battery casing.
4. The paper wrapping is coming off, at the point where you'd use a fingernail to take it out of a phone.
5. The battery is generally dirtier and scruffier than the old battery I removed from my phone.
It arrived totally flat (not necessarily a problem) so at first, the phone will not work. It's on charge right now - let's see if accepts a full charge. I measured the voltage across the three terminals; absolutely zero. Whereas the voltage of the battery on the one I took out (fully charged) was 3.83v and 4.12v across terminals 1 to 2, and 1 to 3 respectively.
OK - so it will probably work once it's charged. It will serve as a spare. BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED. I want a brand new battery, to give me the maximum performance and duration these older Nokia phones are capable of. Used batteries are a gamble - you may get a good one, or you may get a poor one which is no better than the one you want to replace. These batteries are advertised as "NEW", but I dispute that. They should listed as "used" - and perhaps, "fully tested by us" - if known to be good ones. I will submit these words to Amazon now, as I do not believe these batteries should be advertised as new items.

beware of imitations, this seems to be the real thing and lasts like a normal battery on a full charge.

Not genuine Nokia battery
Product took 13 days in total to be delivered and when it arrived it is not as advertised. There is no Nokia logo nor is there a hologram to confirm that it is genuine.

not convinced
I was a bit sceptical as a lot of friends have said that replacement batteries dont last, but bought the above anyway, service spot on no probs, fitted it and charged, brilliant. Read more

not a genuine battery/
After an overnight charge the battery only lasted 1 day my old one was better ,save your money this battery is a complete waste of time.

Claims to be authentic but not, check Hologram
Simply a fake, check Google for procedure to see if Nokia Hologram is authentic, this is not. It is holding charge but I bought an item listed as "Genuine Nokia"
