When the New Forest National Park was
created, the local branch of CAMRA,
the Campaign for Real Ale, saw the
need for a guide to the Park's pubs.
This guide lists every pub and hotel bar,
open to non-resident visitors, within
the combined areas of the
New Forest District Council
and the National Park.
Each establishment has an illustrated
half page entry describing its character,
notable features, food service,
accommodation and, being a CAMRA
guide, details of the real ales and real
ciders on offer.
Sixteen detailed maps pinpoint every
entry, and comprehensive sections
describe the public transport services,
the breweries within 25 miles of the
area, and the styles of beer they offer.
