I have had this for 2 weeks and it is the best wii workout yet (and I have bought many). It is very challenging and fun at the same time. You have a choice of goals and it starts easy but as the levels go up you really break sweat. The workouts are about 30 minutes each and you can top it up if you wish with a custom class. You also have challenges you can try which are difficult but thats the price for the flat stomach we are all after! This game is a must in your wii exercise collection.

I have dabbled in Pilates and Yoga at the gym for the past 10 years, so could never be considered very skilled or experienced in either. However, I think New U Fitness Yoga and Pilates does a good job of creating a challenging and easy to follow class. The improvements I think this title would benefit from are:1. Feedback is not well explained enough. Why is the circle red? The trainer doesn't always explain. 2. Techniques for Yoga are not explained well enough. There are some explanations for the Pilates exercises though. More consideration needs to be given to complete beginners who may not be familiar with some of the poses. 3. It's too Yoga heavy. I may need to progress further through the game, but at the moment it does not seem well balanced between Yoga and Pilates. 4. The exercises do not seem vary enough. Again - this could be because I have not progressed far enough into the game but I have done the same routine 5 times now... However, after a couple of sessions I could really feel my muscles aching the next day, and it may not break you into a sweat but it does raise your body temperature. Overall I'm really happy with the game, and I can overlook the things I think need improving. I guess nothing will beat going to an actual Yoga or Pilates class, but this is a very satisfactory alternative.

I attend Yoga classes every week but I am not motivated enough to practice at home alone. New U, as with other fitness games I have bought for the Wii, has a fitness coach to encourage you. It combines both Yoga and Pilates and ask you to specify what areas of your body needs targeting. I can save several workouts ie belly and legs, so I find I can really tone up the areas of my body I'm not happy with quickly, can't do this in my yoga glass. It also does a short workout so there are no excuses for not having enough time!
