I found Kingsley Dennis's book exhilarating: everything you want to know about what is going on in the World, how to prepare for a new paradigm and how to secure a 'breakthrough' rather than a 'breakdown'. Crystal clear information on the whole spectrum of necessary knowledge, from ancient wisdom to contemporary research, from self farming to mind control, from quantum biology to spiritual enlightenment. An essential guide book for an evolutionary journey into our future.Pure energy.

I have just finished this book and I am excited to continue my journey with it's help. The message of the book could not be more precise by describing the situation which we are facing in our recent history. But the greatness of this book is not only this. It has guided me from the past into the future, by giving deep insight - based on scientific evidences - about our evolutionary process, our role as human beings and our unimaginable potencial's to become so much more we can think of. New Consciousness for a New World is a light in a dark room. The knowledge of the author is so broad, he reaches holistically all level's in life - so the book is really genius - as it really connect's the dot's! It is scientific and mystical, contains information about the latest technology's which are highly influencing our way of living, and also introduces the ancient knowledge of the indigenous elders.

While I was reading, I felt that the energy was flowing from the pages into my entire Mind and Body, which created a spiritual umbilical cord between my Soul and I should say ...the fundamental Truth.

I believe the author is a catalyst, a channel - this book contains everything what we should know about our own empowerment, our unlimited possibilities. The most beautiful about his book I think is that it not only offers informations about what happened before and what is the situation now, it offers solution in many areas in life for the future. Like a reflector, it is sending signals, it is up to you, if you can grab the opportunity - as these times are not only about chaos and collapse, but it is also the time of great breakthrough's as well.

Having read this book in it's entirety, I can say that it is a rehash of pretty much everything out there that represents a certain viewpoint of spiritualism and it's relationship to the world.

Having said that, the information presented is in some parts a bit too 'new agey' and rolls many fragments of learning, ancient or otherwise, into a book that is a little terse in style. The sentences are short and tiring by the time the book is finished.

Like many other books of it's ilk, it panders to wishful thinking along with some ideas of what MIGHT happen. There is no doubt that the world is going through a transition right now, and as the book suggests, it is sorely needed. The book also suggests along with some other books out there (that are better written, such as 'New World New Mind: Moving Toward Conscious Evolution by Robert Ornstein and Paul Ehrlich), that the human race does need to take conscious hold of it's own destiny. The big problem is that the human race is too embedded in it's own ideologies to make any rapid changes. This book suggests there are outside agencies at work that may force us into making changes, that humanity is not capable of bringing on itself.

It's a pity that real truths are mixed up here in this book with assumptions and little fact. A great book spoilt by going overboard on the new age stuff. But, pick through it, and for those that have traveled this route before, there is some valuable info in there too.

I finished the book thinking that something was missing. That 'something' is the spark of a true contemporary master who knows what is real, and what is not.

NAVIGATING THE CHAOS GRACEFULLY 5 Oct 2011
By Dialogue Center - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
By Barbara Smith Stoff

While writing of how whole systems undergo change and evolution, and with an eloquent foreword by Ervin Laszlo who is often considered the "father" of systems science and change, Dr. Dennis writes comprehensively of what he terms the `spiral of cultural history' with an extensive overview of the nature of evolutionary cycles, paradigm shifts, planetary transformation, quantum physics, quantum biology and the interconnectivity of all life--all of which he does from the informed stance of the sociologist. As well, he is author of numerous writings on complexity theory, technologies, new media communications and consciousness.

As I read, and reread, this densely packed book, with its close inspection of the oldest, deepest and most currently prevalent and historically observable cycles in what we might call the universe--the thought that these are CYCLES is comforting!

He now addresses the urgent need to focus upon the evolution of consciousness and specifically upon our need as individuals to focus our moment to moment choices upon evolving our consciousness in a benevolent way.

For me the all important fulcrum point of the book revolves around his own long time thoughts about humankind, and especially individual persons, being transducers and grounders of energy vibrations into the planet and into the universe. It seems to me that his entire book itself does just that very thing.

As he says, "The spiral of cultural history involves a complex interplay of various cycles and systems; of social systems, energy systems, and communication revolutions -- all co-dependent and integral," I begin to think of Teilhard de Chardin envisioning the future as he looks at a fossil, and I begin to think of augers and gyres and the poetry of Yeats, and about the healing of old ancestral wounds. I think the more conscious the decision within any moment, the more it affects the future.

Deep, Readable, Forward-Thinking, Energetic Upgrade! 1 Nov 2011
By Julie Clayton - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
"How we think affects everything around us" is hardly groundbreaking news. Rarely, however, are we presented with such a lucid panorama of how our thoughts and deeds exist within a cosmological framework--as "mutually entangled creative energies," to borrow language from the behavior of quantum objects-- as we are given in this book.

In a nutshell, New Consciousness for a New World looks at how the evolution of consciousness, that is, the long ascent of species transformation that manifests within vast and complex systems and mechanisms, periodically experiences a confluence of events which incurs leaps of evolution, epochal moments when flux and chaos signal an imminent reorder. Dennis peers deeply into the disturbances and convergences currently shaping our natural world and social realities, --such as large cracks in Earth's magnetic field, increased solar radiation and how it is impacting biological nervous systems, DNA hypercommunication, and quantum resonance-- pointing out that these are indicators of an evolutionary leap of transformation already upon us. He provides compelling insight and reasoning to understanding these larger movements and how they are relevant to us individually and collectively.

Conscious evolution, he explains, is not quite the same thing as the evolution of consciousness: it is the active participation of human beings within these larger evolutionary processes. Only a conscious and participatory shift in human thinking, recognizing "the inherent connection between all living things and the cosmos" will suffice as an appropriate response to the deep complexity of the transitions occurring. Such a perceptual shift in thinking would move humanity from separation to wholeness, competition to collaboration, greed to sufficiency, and outer authority to inner authority, thus engendering positive influences for moving through this tumultuous time.

Awakening to this evolutionary impulse "a personal, social, and spiritual rebirth and renewal is possible," Dennis affirms, reminding us of what we can sense in our bones and our souls: that asleep or awake, we are participating in an energetic universe and now is the time and opportunity "to reawaken our slumbering souls and to put our house in order." Dennis has provided us with a great service by turning his considered and considerable attention to illuminating the way forward for humanity's evolutionary journey.

New Consciousness for a New World 18 Feb 2012

This book has served not only to inform me, but more importantly to inspire me. It was easy to read while at the same time being sufficiently scholarly to provide accurate and vital information regarding how to make this "a world that works for all." I'm now incorporating parts of the book in my lectures on the new sciences and personal transformation. I highly recommend this book for people beginning to explore "the shift of ages," and for experts in the field.

You're responsible 26 Jan 2012
By Alana - Published on Amazon.com

This book was a huge inspiration. It made me think about my own responsibility in changing the world. It's so easy to say "someone out there needs to change", yet so hard to start with ourselves. So difficult, yet so simple: I can start by changing the way I think. Hopefully, a critic mass will take place soon and create a sudden shift for everyone. Well, Kingsley writes about all that way more beautifully than I possibly could, but more important than what I consciously THINK about the book is how it made me FEEL. It spoke straight to my heart without the interference of the mind, and I felt very positive, optimistic and quietly satisfied once I closed it. I just really want to live through the changes and actively participate in all of it. We're rising up for something better, people. Read it and join us. Let it come down!

I highly recommend Kingsley L Dennis 's work on consciousness and the transition we're already in. It, and this book, is brilliant!
