Format:Paperback
While on its own this book is quite good, when it's compared to the first 3 of the saga, it's nowhere near as good as they are
The first 3 are more about simple Jewish life, following a family through about 80 years, but this one is a bit far flung, almost in the way that soaps on tv get more & more ridiculous to retain interest
If you've read Almonds & Raisins, Scattered Seed and Children's Children I'm not sure I'd recommend reading Out of the Ashes and then New Beginnings as the last 2 ruin the simplicity a bit.
I have to say I was a bit disappointed with it really
