Can't wait to get out on a long hike with these. Very well-designed, light-weight, good fit despite other folks' reviews to the contrary. I have NB trainers in same size and actually found the boots very slightly more roomy, so no problem with sports socks. Very well-lined so I doubt if there's any need for thicker socks unless I were to head for Antarctica (highly unlikely!!).

I am a size 4 but it was too small , even with thin socks! Reordered size 5 and really hope they won't be too large! These boots are one of the comfiest ones I have ever worn! ( I've got North Face , Columbia & Karrimor shoes/boots) Recommend NB boots for its design, bouncy walk & fured but if you want to wear them with thick socks you need a bigger size!

Replaced my old walking boots with these and am very glad I did. They are really light, look great on and really are waterproof. They are true to size and the top is fur lined, so lovely cosy ankles in this weather - but I expect they won't be too hot in the warmer months as they are breathable and so light. Brilliant price too, highly recommended
